We have settled nicely in Colorado and totally love it here. We love our new church, we blended right in from the very first day. The kids love their class and Dustin really enjoys playing in the church band. I am enjoying EVERYTHING about it: the people, the sermons, finding myself in Jesus again and probably most of all watching my children and my husband grow in Christ. We never did have that awkward third wheel feeling. They have ALWAYS made us feel involved and as part of the family, we even host Tuesday evening Bible study at our house.
Kadi is coming long very well with homeschooling, she is just about done with first grade and will be moving onto second grade in November. Our current science unit is on Weather, ya know since we encountered so many different kinds recently. LOL
Adam is trucking right along as well. A few more phonics sounds mastered and he will be starting "Teach your children to read in 100 easy lessons" also (probably Novemeber as well). Figure as long as he is interested never too early to start. :)
Our rental house is super nice. We LOVE the space it has. Kadi and Adam even have an actual homeschool room. Which is GREAT!
