We have been SUPER busy, running around anywhere and everywhere. We drove up North Shore and checked out the crazy dangerous waves. They were not the 30-35 waves we were hoping for. However we technically shouldn't have driven up there anyways. We got up at 5am and prepped for leaving at 6, turned on the news and saw the oddest thing. They had CLOSED all the schools and some business due to high wind speeds, up to 60 mph, and rain. Also they had shelters open. So we decided to wait it out a bit. We waited around until 9ish, going outside every half hour or so in complete confusion, it was GORGEOUS outside. Finally we said lets just go and play it by ear. Ya sure it was windy but nothing to write home about, we hit a couple small rain spells while driving but that was it. We got to Northshore and the waves were crazy. My guess is they were about 10 footers, but they were coming sooo fast that they weren't getting a chance to curl. Phooey! We will be trying it again soon, maybe this weekend.
